Skills Required
  • Responsible for quarterly Group consolidation report and perform analytical review on result for the quarterly board papers.
  • Prepare quarterly movement of Equity, Share Capital and Loan relating to foreign subsidiaries for Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) submission.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial and commentaries reporting from regional subsidiaries.
  • Prepare consolidated cash balance for the Group.
  • Prepare and monitor the consolidated indebtedness for the Group.
  • Prepare monthly Group accounts.
  • Provide detailed analytical review on monthly performance against budget and probable action plan for Management’s consideration.
  • Liaison with the finance counterparts in the various countries.
  • Liaison with financial institution/external parties (tax and auditors).
  • Ensure Financial Statements of the Group are prepared in compliance with statutory accounting standards / IFRS.
  • Perform any ad hoc task given by superior as and when required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting, or
  • Professional qualification from a recognised Accountancy body.
  • Minimum 5 years related working experience with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
  • Minimum 3 years audit experience in audit firm is an added advantage.
  • Familiar with the changes/development in the IFRS.
  • Preferable with Financial management and group consolidation experience.
  • Independently with strong communication skill.
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
