Skills Required
  • Internship period must be at least 3 to 6 months. This role reports directly to the Group Corporate Communications Manager.
  • Assist the corp comms team in daily tasks – updating digital assets (websites, GMB, social media channels, etc), gathering information from clinics, ensuring public information is accurate, and more.
  • Assist corp comms in ideation and creation of content for social media, blog posts and newsletter, including writing articles.
  • Assist corp comms in ideation and content for digital and physical promotional materials.
  • Assist corp comms in media work, including liaising with local media channels and creating press releases.
  • Learn and explore diverse aspects of communications in a large healthcare business, including managing public information and internal communications, and multi-tasking across simultaneous projects and deadlines.

2nd or 3rd year of Diploma/Bachelor of Mass Communications, Journalism or related degree.

  • Willing to learn the workings of a large business, including learning to set priorities and forward planning.
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Excellent skills in MS Office Packages and high level of comfort with Wordpress and online social media tools.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia, with good communication skills. Knowledge of a third local language (spoken and written) is a plus.
  • Responsible, ethical, hardworking, creative, mature.
